Yonkers Man Among Nine Charged In Sobriety Checkpoint Nine motorists were charged during a sobriety checkpoint conducted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Poughkeepsie Police Department. On Sunday, Nov. 4, police conducted the checkpoint, which was funded by the Governors Traffic Safety Committee and the New York State STOP-DWI Foundation.
