First Total Solar Eclipse In 99 Years To Be Visible In New York: Here's When, Where New York officials are hard at work making preparations for a historic solar eclipse event that will be the first one visible in the state in nearly a century.  The total eclipse will be visible in the western and northern parts of New York state during the afternoon of Monday, April 8, according to Gov. Sam's Club Stores Suddenly Close In NY, NJ, CT Walmart confirmed Thursday that it closed and is closing 63 Sam’s Club stores across the United States, including several in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
