NYC Man Sentenced For Trafficking Marijuana In CT
A 30-year-old man is set to spend the next two years behind bars for trafficking more than 100 pounds of marijuana in Connecticut. Queens resident Gustavo Garcia has been sentenced to 24 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty earlier this year to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana. Garcia admitted to delivering approximately 120 to 130 pounds of marijuana to William Reyes in Stamford last year, including an estimated 40 pounds that he sold to Reyes for approximately $80,000 in July 2017.
