Westchester School Increases Police Presence After Florida HS Shooting The Bronxville Police Department is increasing their presence and patrols around local schools in the wake of the fatal shooting at a Florida high school earlier this week. In a letter to parents, Bronxville Schools Superintendent Roy Montesano said that there would be an increased police presence around schools, and there will be officers conducting walkthroughs of the buildings as a precaution. There will also be a training session next week when classes are not in session. “This type of event strikes fear in the heart of every parent who sends a child to school each day,” Montesano said.…
