Port Chester Gas Leak Closes Roadway As Officials Search For Source A gas leak has closed a roadway in Port Chester as police, fire and Con Ed employees work to find the source of the leak. The fire department has been on the scene on Ellendale Avenue for more than three hours trying to locate the source of the leak that is causing a strong odor of gas in the area, said the Port Chester Police. Ellendale has been closed as the crews work in the area. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.  This is a developing story. Check back to Daily Voice for updates
