Following an intense selection process, an elementary school in Westchester has selected a new assistant principal who brings plenty of experience to the role. A teacher who lived in Westchester her entire life is being remembered for her devotion to her students and her caring heart. Lifelong Yonkers resident Darlene Fata died on Wednesday, May 31 at the age of 54 after a battle with cancer, according to her obituary.
