Chappaqua School District Issues Followup Lead Tests For Drinking Water CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – The Chappaqua school district has taken steps toward eliminating high lead levels from its water sources, but still has more work to do, according to a recent letter from Interim Superintendent of Schools Dan McCann. According to the school district, more than 740 test samples were taken from the district’s six schools in September and October yielding proof that dangerous levels of lead were present at numerous water sources in each building.
