A section of a busy parkway in Westchester has reopened following an investigation into a serious crash.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes of the Sprain Brook Parkway in Yonkers at the split with the Bronx River Parkway were temporarily closed following a serious crash, New York State Police announced on Friday afternoon, Dec. 15.

All lanes of the parkway have since reopened to traffic, police said.

More details about the crash have not yet been released.
