YONKERS, N. Y. -- Yonkers police are investigating an armed robbery late Tuesday or early Wednesday in Yonkers that left one person with injuries, News 12 is reporting.

No details were available on the injuries, and police told News 12 that they still aren't certain whether the weapon used in the robbery was a real gun or a pellet gun.

A heavy police presence remained Wednesday morning in the area near Caryl and Bruce avenues, News 12 says.
