NEW JERSEY - Rose Yvonne Petretti (nee DiDomizio) of New Jersey, former longtime Yonkers, died Saturday, April 5. She was 84.
Petretti was born in Yonkers, to Stefan and Maria (DiFrancesco) DiDomizio. She attended local schools and graduated from High School of Commerce in 1947. She was employed as a bookkeeper for various insurance companies.
Petretti is survived by her children, Henry Jr. (Susan) and Thomas (Anna Cristina) Walaszczyk; two grandchildren; and brother, Mario DiDomizio. She was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Henry Walaszczyk and the late Alfred Petretti; and brother, Steven DiDomizio Jr.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9 at St. Casimir's Church. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
