Mondaruli was born in the Bronx to John and Rose Santaro Puccia. She was a retired New York City school teacher, a member of the ladies auxiliary Charles Bajart American Legion Post, Sons of Italy and at the Scotti's Senior Center and Coyne Park Seniors Center.
Mondaruli is survived by her children, Michael (Gloria) and Frank (Rosemary) Mondaruli and Susan (Robert) Siegel; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Sept. 10 and Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Flower Funeral Home Inc. A Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Church of St. John the Baptist. Entombment at the Gate of Heaven.
