YONKERS, N.Y. -- John Wislocki, a resident of Yonkers since 1963 after emigrating from Kwiaton, Poland, died Thursday, Feb. 19, at age 92.
He is survived by his wife, Julia (Pejko) Wislocki; his children, Bogdan (Maria) Wislocki, Lidia (Robert) Ciamarra, Stephen (Margaret) Wislocki, George Wislocki and Maria (Marek) Tobar; and his grandchildren, Martha, Monica, Nicholas, Joseph, Katherine, Olivia and Michael. Wislocki was predeceased by three brothers and six sisters.
Visitation at Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, 46 Seymour St., Yonkers, will be held on Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with Panahyda at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be on Saturday at the church at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Donations in Wislocki's memory may be made to Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church. Arrangements entrusted to Duchynski-Cherko Funeral Home.
