Albert J. DeStefano, 85, Formerly Of Yonkers, WWII And Korean War Veteran

HUDSON, Fla. - Albert J. DeStefano of Hudson, formerly of Yonkers, died Oct, 8. He was 85.

DeStefano was born Aug. 25, 1928, son of Dominick and Mary (Severino) DeStefano. He was a World War II and Korean War Veteran.

DeStefano is survived by his wife, Laura (Penzo) DeStefano; children, Douglas, Candice, Albert (Barbara), Jill Messina, Donna Adams (Christopher), Madeline DiMartino (Joseph); 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Duchin and Jean Merrinan; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Frank, Daniel, Carmine, Edward; and sister, Grace Jewels.

Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at Sacred Heart Monastery Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
