Yonkers Teacher And Aide Charged With Restraining Student

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A teacher and a teacher's aide at the Bondi School at Leake and Watts in Yonkers were arrested Tuesday after allegedly holding a 13-year-old student down and hitting him, according to News 12.

Pierre Henry and Michael Holt are reportedly charged with endangering the welfare of a child and several other misdemeanor crimes.

The incident occurred in Oct. 2013 and the boy did not suffer any serious injuires, according to the report.

The Biondi School is a fully accredited non-public school providing year-round specialized education services for students in kindergarten through 12th grade with social and emotional difficulties and severe academic deficits, according to the school's website.
