The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 42-year-old Dennis Vasquez, who has reported a move to an apartment on Saint Andrews Place in Yonkers.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Vasquez as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Vasquez had sexual contact and intercourse with his 4-year-old victim in February 1992 and was convicted of first-degree sexual assault with an individual under the age of 11 in June that year. He was sentenced to five years probation and is now under the jurisdiction of the Yonkers City Police Department SOR Unit.
