Dearden, 46, who also was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and four counts of criminal possession of a firearm, faces a maximum of 25 years in prison for the attempted murder and first-degree assault charges according to the report.
Kenneth Dearden, 48, a developer and president of the Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront Business Improvement District, filed a lawsuit alleging his wife reportedly attempted to kill him while he slept on Friday, Nov. 14, so she could pursue a relationship with another man in Texas.
