Motorists Can Expect Three Days Of Delays On Bronx River Parkway In Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Motorists may experience delays during their morning commute because of single-lane closures on the Bronx River Parkway between the Cross County Parkway and the Sprain Brook Parkway in Yonkers on April 1 through April 2

Two lanes will be maintained at all times in each direction during this work. The lane closures are as follows:

  • One northbound lane closed within the above limits on Wednesday, April 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • One southbound lane closed within the above limits on Thursday, April 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • One northbound lane closed within the above limits on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

The lane closures are necessary to conduct Midland Avenue Bridge inspections. Electronic message sign will be used to alert motorists.
