Yonkers' Cross County Shopping Center Hosts Halloween Spooktacular

YONKERS, N.Y. -- The Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers is inviting Westchester children to attend its annual Halloween Spooktacular event on Friday.

There will be pumpkin arts and crafts as part of Friday's Halloween Spooktacular at the Cross County Shopping Center.

The free event will be from 4-7 p.m., in the center of the mall on The Green. Parking at the Cross County Shopping Center, at the junction of Interstate 87 and the Cross County Parkway in Yonkers, also is free.

The event is geared toward children up to age 12 years old and kids are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costume.

There will be a costume contest, pumpkin arts and crafts and a trick-or-treating parade throughout the center. Kids also will enjoy live music, strolling entertainers and free goodies to take home.
