A stretch of the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway reopened late Saturday morning after a downed tree led to its closure.
The closure, reported just before 9:30 a.m., was at Mamaroneck Avenue (Exit 23), with stopped traffic at the scene and gridlock back up to I-287.
The incident had been cleared shortly after 11 a.m.
