Woman Victimized By Scammer Posing As Family Member Over Phone In Westchester Residents are being warned to be cautious after a woman in New York was contacted by a scammer who posed as her family member in an effort to solicit money from her.  The Westchester County incident happened to a member of the Port Chester Senior Community Center on Wednesday, Oct. 11, when she was victimized by a "grandparent scam," according to an announcement from the center shared by the Port Chester Police Department. Successful Financial Executive From Westchester Dies At Age 61 A native New Yorker who lived in the Boston area and was a successful financial executive has died at the age of 61. Suzanne Marie Irwin, of Charlestown, Massachusetts, who grew up in Westchester County, died peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 17, after 13-month illness with Glioblastoma, her obituary said. She grew up in Larchmont and graduated from Mamaroneck High School, according to her obituary.
