Task Force Seeks To Reduce Violence Involving New Rochelle Students Following a spate of violent incidents involving students near the high school campus earlier this year, the New Rochelle Task Force on Reducing Violence in the lives of Children and Youth met for the second time. Earlier this year, there were several incidents involving multiple students, including the fatal stabbing of Valaree Schwab and a separate stabbing incident that saw a student strike another before fleeing campus.
