Update: Bronx River Parkway Reopens After Crash In North White Plains

The northbound and southbound lanes of the Bronx River Parkway at Virginia Road in North White Plains are once again open after a crash.

All lanes of a busy parkway at a busy intersection in Northern Westchester have reopened following a crash.

The northbound and southbound lanes of the Bronx River Parkway at Virginia Road in the North Castle hamlet of North White Plains are once again open to traffic following a crash, Westchester County Police announced on Thursday, Nov. 7 just after 5 p.m.

According to the department's Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary, two cars collided at the intersection just before 3:30 p.m. The roadway was closed so crews could remove the cars and debris.

The drivers involved suffered minor injuries.
