22-Year-Old Shot Near Transit Center In Westchester: Suspect At Large Authorities are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting near a Westchester transit center that left a 22-year-old man hospitalized. The shooting happened on Monday, Nov. 18 just before 1 p.m., when two people were seen exchanging gunfire in the area of 311 North Ave. in New Rochelle near the city's transit center parking garage, New Rochelle Police Captain J. Collins Coyne said on Tuesday, Nov. 19.  Arriving officers soon found a victim with gunshot wounds in the area of Huguenot Street and North Avenue and began giving medical aid to him.
