These Two Westchester Zip Codes Among Top 100 Priciest In Country, New Report Says Two Hudson Valley zip codes were ranked among the most expensive in the United States based on residential sales, according to a new report. Property Shark said it created this year's list of the 100 most expensive zip codes in the US based on residential transactions closed between Jan. 1 and Oct. 22. The two Hudson Valley zip codes, both in Westchester County, that made the list are located in Rye and Purchase. Rye's 10580 zip code was ranked 72nd, with a median sale price of $1,861,000 in 2021. New Rankings: This Westchester Zip Code Among Nation's Most Expensive A new report reveals a zip code in the area among the most expensive in the country.  The most expensive zip code in the country, Atherton, California (94027), has remained at the top spot due to what Property Shark calls a “considerable spike in its median sale price.” Ranked No. 1 in New York, and No. 2 nationally, is Sagaponack in Suffolk County with a median sales price of $5,500,000. These Westchester County Zip Codes Have Highest Earners In America As it turns out, being able to afford the cost of an expensive home does not necessarily mean living in an area where the priciest homes are located.  According to a new report by Property Shark, some of the top-earning homeowners in the U.S. live in Westchester County.
