Soap Opera Star's Son, Citadel Cadet Charged In Capitol Riots
A former Northern New Jersey high school student and Citadel cadet has been charged in the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol.
Elias Irizarry, 19, a Montclair High School graduate and a second-semester freshman at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina, was released from jail on a $25,000 bond, ABC4 reports.
Irizarry's father, Vincent Irizarry, played Deimos Kiriakis on NBC's "Days of our Lives," and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 1985 and 2002. He won in 2009.

Toll Prices Increase Along These NY Bridges, Tunnels
Traveling to and from New York City has gotten more expensive.
Tolls on bridges and tunnels connecting New York City to northern New Jersey, Westchester, and Long Island went up this weekend, beginning on Sunday, Jan. 5.
Toll increases will impact drivers using the George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, Goethals Bridge, Bayonne Bridge, and Outerbridge Crossing.
Cash tolls were also increased to $16 on Port Authority bridges and tunnels. Passengers using E-Z Pass will be charged $13.75 during peak hours and $11.75 during off-peak hours, both a $1.25 increase.

Richard French III, the president of RNN News took time out of his daily TV show to talk about the upcoming closure of FiOS1 News after Verizon pulled out of contract talks with the company run by RNN and RNN-TV.
“The ending of FiOS1 is personal,” said French, whose family owns both companies. “Around 150 good people, both behind and in front of the cameras, will be displaced, (that) includes anchors, reporters, producers, videographers and so many other faces you will never see."
The closure of the hyper-local news channel will take place at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
