Skeletal Remains Found In Westchester, State Police Say New York State Police and the Buchanan Police Department are investigating the discovery of skeletal remains. Investigators announced a property owner discovered a bone specimen that appeared to be human, police said. According to police, the initial investigation by New York State Police and the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office have tentatively identified the bones as a pig in origin. The final identification is pending the results of DNA testing, police noted. Scarsdale Dentist Found Dead Inside Running Car A Westchester dentist once affiliated with the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx was found dead inside a running car in the Bronx, according to the NYPD. NYPD officials said they received a report of Dr. Jeremy Wertman, 38, of Scarsdale, sitting in a running car in a parking garage at 2690 E. 188th St. in Fordham Heights about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday. Police sources say Wertman had an IV tube connected to his foot with a bag filled with propofol, according to the New York Post.
