Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash at a Westchester intersection. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 17 in New Rochelle at the intersection of Main Street and Echo Avenue, and involved a vehicle and a motorcycle. Three teenagers are facing robbery charges in a carjacking that happened in Westchester County. Police responded to a report of a carjacking in the area of 969 Main St. in New Rochelle at about 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, according to the New Rochelle Police Department. Police said a restaurant owner was closing his business and was approached by two male teens who demanded the keys to his vehicle and displayed a semi-automatic handgun. Police in Westchester County recovered 36 stolen catalytic converters inside a suitcase and a vehicle after being tipped that the thieves may be in the area. The incident took place in New Rochelle on Tuesday, June 21. Detectives were alerted by the Real-Time Crime Center that a Dodge Challenger suspected of being used by catalytic converter thieves entered New Rochelle via I-95 at Exit 15, said Capt. J.
