Police In Westchester Investigate False Fire Report Police in Scarsdale are investigating a false report of a fire in the village. Members of the Scarsdale Police and Fire departments responded to an Old Lyme Road residence at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, where there were reports of smoke coming from a home. Upon arrival, police officers and firefighters found no evidence of fire or smoke.
