Sheriff's Deputy Seriously Injured In Two-Vehicle Crash In Area
A sheriff's deputy was injured during a two-vehicle collision with a truck in the area. The Putnam County Sheriff's deputy was injured around 12:40 p.m., Monday, May 17 in the area of the Fahnestock State Park, located in Carmel, said the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. Women Who Stole Credit Cards From Cars Made Purchases In Four Counties, Authorities Say
Two women are facing felony larceny charges following a string of larcenies in Putnam County in which authorities say stolen credits were used to make purchases in four neighboring counties. The larcenies occurred in the towns of Philipstown, Putnam Valley and Kent, Putnam County Sheriff, Robert L. Langley Jr. said.
