Teen Admits To Stabbing Two Rockland Men On Jersey Shore, Prosecutor Says A teenager has admitted to stabbing two Hudson Valley men on the Jersey Shore during a fight last year, authorities said. Juwan Roman, age 18, of Newark, pleaded guilty on Thursday, May 13 to two counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Roman's name was made public this week after he waived his right to juvenile status in Family Court.  Roman was 17 during the 2020 assault, but he voluntarily agreed to be prosecuted as an adult, the prosecutor said. Fugitive Driving Stolen Truck Nabbed After Crashing Into Embankment During Westchester Chase A wanted fugitive took troopers on a brief chase in an allegedly stolen pickup truck on I-95 while on drugs before crashing in Westchester, New York State Police said. Troopers stopped a driver at approximately 12:35 p.m. on Friday, April 24 on I-95 in Rye, when Portland, Maine, resident Paul Grandmaison, 41, committed a traffic violation.
