The new office located at 222 Bloomingdale Road in White Plains will be an ultramodern gathering space with an open floor plan that will accommodate the flexible schedules and business needs of over 100 real estate agents.  The location will feature the latest in telecom, TV displays, collaborative new age design and will have plenty of places to charge laptops, iPads and cell phones, all while exercising the latest in energy conservation technology.

“Real estate agents operate much differently today compared to how we did 10 years ago,” Rand said at a ribbon cutting on Wednesday.  “Mobile technology has advanced so much in the past five years that it has completely changed the way that we do business.  Think about all we do with our smart phones and tablet computers; what could only be done in the office a few short years ago, can be done anywhere today.  These substantial advances in technology have changed the way that our customers buy and sell real estate and have forced the traditional real estate agent workflow to change; we have made a significant capital investment in the future of our White Plains office to accommodate this phenomenon. By providing better environments with the latest technological advances, we are greatly improving the overall real estate experience for our agents and our clients.”

The office will boast a Central Cafe for client meetings and training sessions, Starbucks inspired work spaces, and a lounge area suitable for more relaxed, intimate meetings.  There is an outside courtyard patio that includes seating for outdoor meetings and open-air work spaces.

White Plains BHG Rand Realty agents and their clients will also enjoy free covered parking; a rare perk not available in many places in White Plains.  The new White Plains office is centrally located with easy access to downtown and regional neighborhoods, making it a convenient place for agents to stop in, get some work done, meet with their clients or just grab a cup of coffee.

People who attended the ribbon cutting on Wednesday were the Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty Management team and staff from White Plains and area Offices, Sherry Chris, CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC, White Plains Mayor Thomas ‘Tom’ Roach, local area Realtors and business leaders.
