White Plains Man Behind Bars After Upstate Heroin Bust

A White Plains man was busted for having 67 bags of heroin and other drugs during a traffic stop by Sullivan County Sheriff's deputies.

Mykell Gray, 37, was arrested around 3 p.m. Sat., Dec. 30, after deputies stopped his vehicle for a violation on Route 42 in the Town of Thompson, said Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty.

During the stop, the deputy uncovered the heroin, in addition to 24 bags of crack cocaine and three cellphones, Chaboty said.

Gray was charged with three felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. 

He is being held without bail at the Sullivan County Jail.
