WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Stanley Finkelstein of White Plains died April 2. He was 85.
Finkelstein was born in the Bronx to Issac and Ida Finkelstein. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After returning home from the military, he worked as a government employee for the United States Postal Service at FDR Station in New York City. He was a member of Woodlands Community Temple in Greenburgh.
Finkelstein is survived by his sons, Andrew (Nancy) and Evan; and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Sherry.
A funeral service is at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry.
