WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Paul Aaron Hans, of White Plains and Boca Raton, Fla., died May 13. He was 86.
Hans was born in New York City, to Helen (Green) and Bernard Hans. He was raised in the Bronx. After one year at New York University, he joined the Army and spent World War II in Germany, mainly in Berlin. After his discharge as a sergeant major, he returned to college, attending NYU at night while also working full time.
Hans and his wife moved to White Plains in 1954. He worked in executive sales until his retirement in 1990.
Hand is survived by his wife, Trudy; son. Dr. Jay (Patricia) Hans; daughter, Ilene Hans; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held May 16 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Ballard-Durand Funeral and Cremation Services, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains, followed by a burial at Sharon Gardens Cemetery.
