White Plains Will See Patchy, Dense Fog, Rain

A warm front moving into the area Thursday morning that has brought drizzle and patchy fog will be followed by heavier rain in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Low temperatures will hover around the upper 30s in some areas and the mid-40s in most, according to the report. The low temperatures still are about 10 degrees above normal.

Another weather system will move through the region Thursday afternoon, bringing steadier rain and even higher temperatures, according to the National Weather Service. Some parts of the Lower Hudson Valley could see highs in the upper 50s.

By Friday night into Saturday, a cooler, drier weather system is expected to cross the area, according to forecasters.
