White Plains Says A Sunny And Cool Farewell To Summer

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.-- Westchester should enjoy a sunny and dry week as the county begins its transition from summer to fall.

The weather will be mostly sunny and dry as kids head back to school this week.

According to accuweather.com, the shortened work week will see temperatures hovering in the mid-to-high 70s with very little chance of precipitation.

There's a chance of a shower or two on Thursday which will cause the temperatures to dip into the high 40s late Thursday and a high of only 70 on Friday.

Overall, the weather should remain sunny and perfect weather to send the kids back to school.
