The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 63-year-old Charles Harrison, who has moved to an address on East Post Road to Fisher Avenue in White Plains.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Harrison as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense." He has also been designated as a sexually violent offender.

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Harrison had sexual intercourse and contact with his female victim in July 2003 and he was convicted of first-degree rape in June the following year, when he was sentenced to five years in state prison. Harrison is now under the jurisdiction of the White Plains City Police Department.
