National Prices Of Gas Drops Below $2 A Gallon

Gasoline prices have slipped to less than $2 a gallon, the first time they have been that low since March 25, 2009, according to the Lewisboro Ledger.

In comparison to the previous year, today's prices are 41 cents lower, the article said.

A big "oil glut," with more than needed supplies all over the world to match the current demand, less driving in winter and crude oil prices down to $35 to $40 a barrel on average are what is driving prices lower, according to the report.
