Bronx River Parkway Closed Wednesday Night For Fireworks Show

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Drivers are being warned that the northbound Bronx River Parkway will be closed to traffic between Virginia Road and the Kensico Dam Plaza (Taconic State Parkway connector) Wednesday from 5 p.m. to midnight for the county's annual fireworks show.

The county Parks Department’s annual Kensico Dam Music Fest and fireworks display event will be held at the Kensico Dam Plaza.

In addition, the Taconic State Parkway will be closed to traffic from Commerce Street to the Kensico Dam Plaza during the same time period.

Variable message signs will alert motorists. Delays are expected and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
