White Plains Probation Manager Devine-Molin Dies

HARTSDALE, N.Y. – Carol Devine-Molin, 57, of Hartsdale, died April 5. 

Devine-Molin worked as a probation supervisor for Westchester County in White Plains. She also hosted a television show, "On The Right Side," that aired on Larchmont Mamaroneck Community TV.

Born May 13, 1954, in Queens, N.Y., she was the daughter of Leo T. and Nancy Devine. She attended Mary Louis Academy in Queens and graduated from Pearl River High School in 1972. Devine-Molin received a bachelor's degree in psychology from McGill University in Montreal and a master's degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.  

Always active in politics, Devine-Molin participated in many campaigns and interviewed politicians and community leaders for her local show. She enjoyed her work, writing and shopping.  

Devine-Molin was predeceased by her father, Leo T. Devine. She is survived by her mother, Nancy; two sisters Mary Devine and Grace (Frank) McHugh; a brother, Leo M. (Martha) Devine; and several nieces and nephews.  

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Scared Heart Church in Hartsdale. Arrangements are under Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes in Scarsdale.
