This community-wide event powered by United Way of Westchester and Putnam, celebrates the spirit of giving and the collective effort it takes to strengthen the community by raising critical funds for local nonprofits. All nonprofits in good standing can register by April 10 in order to receive donations through Give Local. Registration is free. Rules, prize listings, and 3rd party processing fees can be found at www.givelocalwp.org.
Give Local Westchester & Putnam is part of the largest online giving event in history. It will be joining more than 100 regions across the country in partnership with Give Local America to raise millions of dollars for the greater good – all on a single day. Last year’s event raised more than $53 million nationally.
Local businesses can join in this community-wide event by becoming sponsors, donating prizes, or promoting the day to employees. Donors will be randomly selected throughout the 24 hours to receive prizes.
Business can adopt an hour, a cause, or align their business with a county. Basic sponsorship packages can be found at www.givelocalwp.org and range from $250 to $6,000.

Residents can check www.givelocalwp.org to make sure their favorite charities are listed. Additions can be made up until April 10.
