The area's newest Whole Foods store will be opening just in time for the holidays.
The 40,000-square-foot location is set to open at Chappaqua Crossing on Wednesday, Dec. 12, complete with a grand opening complete with complimentary coffee on North Bedford Road.
“We are excited to be part of the greater Chappaqua and Northern Westchester community,” Alex Saa, the store team leader, said in a release. "We aim to preserve the character of this renowned location while offering the highest quality food that the people from New Castle and beyond have been waiting for.”
The store - which was initially scheduled to open last week - will include fast-casual dining options, seasonal fruits and vegetables, local vendors and the standard Whole Food fare. This marks the fourth Whole Foods location to be opened in Westchester. The grocery store is expected to create more than 200 jobs in the area, and is currently hiring.
