Young Boy Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In Hudson Valley A 13-year-old boy was sent to the hospital after he was hit by a car while crossing a street in Northern Westchester.  On Tuesday, Jan. 10, around 3:30 p.m., police in Peekskill responded to the 500 block of North Division Street between Constant Avenue and Phoenix Avenue, where the boy was struck by a grey Honda Civic driven by a Cortlandt Manor resident, according to Lt. Orange County Man Charged With DWI In Weekend State Police Stop New York State Police troopers busted nearly two dozen local motorists who were allegedly driving while impaired in the area. The local residents charged were: Westchester County On Friday, Jan. 4, State Police troopers from Cortlandt arrested Judith E. Cartwright, 72, of Peekskill, for DWI. She was traveling on Route 9 in Peekskill, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and she was subsequently arrested.
