Prominent Hudson Valley Attorney Disbarred After Conviction
A prominent Westchester attorney will no longer be permitted to practice law in New York after being convicted for embezzling from the estate of a dead man. Rye resident Guy Parisi, 72, has been disbarred after pleading guilty last year in federal court and spending six months in jail for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the estate of a former Mount Vernon resident. Parisi had appealed the disbarment, but an appellate court ruled against him. Parisi was appointed the administrator of the estate in April 2017, where he was tasked with collecting the assets of the estate. …
