NY Students Among 300 Semifinalists Nationwide In Prestigious Science Competition
Dozens of students from New York have been named semifinalists in the country’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors. The Society for Science announced the top 300 scholars in the Regeneron Science Talent Search for 2024 on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Researchers have identified groups of vaccinated people who may be the most at risk for suffering severe outcomes from COVID-19 breakthrough infections. According to a report from Medical News Today, the study looked at more than 6 million people who have received one or two doses of COVID-19 vaccine in the United Kingdom.
