Man Found Dead After Police Standoff In Hudson Valley A man who allegedly threatened an employee at a business in Westchester died following a standoff in which he fired shots at officers, authorities announced. Just before 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, officers were dispatched to 11 Livingston Avenue in Yonkers to check on the welfare of a man following a report that he had made threats to an employee of an insurance company. Body Of Missing Man Recovered From Pond New update: The body of a man who went missing on Long Island has been recovered. The body of Dennis Jones, 40, of Freeport was pulled from the Milburn Pond on the Baldwin/Freeport border on Saturday, Dec. 28, Nassau County Police said. He was pronounced dead at 4:21 p.m., according to police.
