Suspect At Large After Long Island Woman Scammed Out Of $16,500, Police Say Police on Long Island are cautioning residents to be wary after a woman was bilked out of thousands of dollars by a fraudster posing as an FBI agent. The Nassau County Police Department is currently investigating an alleged grand larceny that saw a 36-year-old woman in Oceanside scammed out of $16,500. Police said that the woman was instructed to purchase several gift cards, and then take photographs of them for a purported member of the FBI.
