Trio Beaten With Baseball Bat In Group's Ambush Attack Outside Smithtown Business Police are seeking tips after three men were beaten with a baseball bat in a group ambush attack outside a Long Island business. The incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, March 10, in Smithtown, outside the Bagel Express on West Main Street near Brooksite Drive. Suffolk County Police said three men were walking along West Main Street when a vehicle stopped and seven men got out. The group then attacked them with a baseball bat in a parking lot. One victim managed to grab the bat and smash a widow on the suspects’ vehicle. The seven assailants then got back in the car and fled.…

Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men seen on video breaking into a Long Island liquor store and stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise. The burglary occurred at around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in Smithtown, at The Wine Guy Liquor Store located on West Main Street.
