Trio Nabbed On Long Island With Weapons, Guns, After Wild Chase Involving Several Crashes Three alleged gang members, one wanted for murder, were arrested by police who confiscated drugs and weapons during a wild takedown that involved several vehicle crashes.  The arrest took place on Thursday, Oct. 29 in Hauppauge. That's when members of the Suffolk County Police Firearm Suppression Team, along with members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, located Brandon Hicks, 19, of Hauppauge, who had an active warrant from Nassau County for attempted murder, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon. Long Island Fugitive Faces Eight Years In Prison For Jersey Shore Shooting, Weapons Charge A 24-year-old man from Long Island faces up to eight years in state prison in connection with an April shooting in New Jersey, authorities said. U.S Marshals and multiple law enforcement agencies from New York and the Jersey Shore assisted in arresting the fugitive and a co-conspirator, Ocean County First Assistant Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan, Jr. said. Suffolk County resident Ademola Bostick of Bay Shore pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and possession of a weapon on Tuesday, Nolan said.
