Woman, 39, Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car On Long Island
Police are searching for a dark-colored vehicle in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a 39-year-old woman with serious injuries.
The incident took place around 7:20 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Baldwin, when the woman was walking along Milburn Avenue, Nassau County Police said.
According to detectives, while walking northbound in front of 2387 Milburn Ave., the woman was struck by a northbound vehicle that left the scene.
As a result of the collision the victim suffered multiple trauma injuries, police said.

Cop, Slashing Victim Hit By Minivan Outside Farmingdale Hookah Bar
Numerous people were injured, including a Nassau County police officer, after a disturbance and slashing outside a popular hookah bar.
The incident began around 2:45 a.m., Saturday, April 20, when police were called to a disturbance at the Mystique Gardens Hookah Lounge, 365 Conklin St., said Det. Lt. Richard LeBrun, Nassau County Police spokesman.
When the officers arrived they observed a male victim that had been slashed in his neck. As they approached the victim, he ran north into a municipal parking lot and collapsed, LeBrun said.
